In addition to my vintage mermaid passion, I enjoy collecting fine recipes. I especially enjoy those that are tasty and easy to prepare. You guessed it. Most of my spare time is spent collecting, molding and reproducing vintage mermaids, so my time in the kitchen is limited. This cake is moist and absolutely delciious!
1 Box Any Brand Chocolate Cake Mix (I prefer Devil's Food)
3 Large Eggs
1 C. Water
!/2 C. Cooking Oil
1 Container Coconut Pecan Frosting
Mix cake according to directions. Gently stir in coconut pecan frosting. Bake at 350 degrees until done. OH MYYYYYYYYY SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. You can use a 9x13 dish but I prefer a bundt pan. Enjoy!
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 package Betty Crocker (or choice) white cake mix
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup melted butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread pie filling into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan or dish. Sprinkle the lemon juice evenly over pie filling. In a bowl, stir together the cake mix, nuts, and melted butter until the mixture ix crumbly. Sprinkle this over the pie filling. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until top is light brown. TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!!!!!
